The villages and valley of Toubkal

Location: about 70 km from Marrakech

A week of hiking in the Atlas valleys dominated by Toubkal the highest peak in north africa 4165m
Day 1: Arrive in Marrakech. Night at the hotel.
Day 2: Departure by minivan to Ourika Valley and Oukaïmeden 2600 m , starting point of the hike. Visiting the sites of petroglyphs. Col at 2668 m. First camp, 2:30 walk. Camping.
Day 3: Tacheddirt valley. The villages of Amssakrou, Ikis, and finally Tameguist Ouaneskra (2050 m). Camp dominated by peaks over 3800 m. 5:30 walk. Camping.
Day 4: the col of Tamatert (2279 m) and the valley of Imlil. One day may not be enough to discover all the villages, hidden by walnut trees and backed by cliffs. 6 hours of walking.Camping.
Day 5: Tizi Mzik , 2450 m, is access to the valley of the Ouissaden. reach Tamsoult (2400 m). Afternoon we visit the waterfall Tamsoulte. 4:30 walk.Camping.
Day 6: The Ouissaden Valley. Walk by Apple, olive and walnut trees which is the specialty of the valley, 6 hours of walking.Camping.
Day 7: Morning devoted to reach the village of Imi Ourghlade. Lunch, then back to Marrakech by minivan. 2:30 walk.night at the hotel.
Day 8: Fly Home.
